4–8 September – The traditional Cliärrwer Kiermes

The first event of the month: the Clervaux Fair, or Cliärrwer Kiermes, returns from Friday 4 to Tuesday 8 September 2026.

This year, the festivities will take place on Place de la Libération, in the heart of Clervaux. A carousel, funfair, trampoline, duck fishing, food stalls and attractions will be on offer for young and old alike over the five days.

The official opening will take place on Friday 4 September at 6.30 pm, accompanied by the Clervaux Municipal Band. A marquee will also provide the perfect setting to enjoy a meal and a variety of specialities in a friendly atmosphere.

A wonderful opportunity to discover a different side to Clervaux and soak up the atmosphere of a genuine local festival.

Sunday, September 13 – The Clervaux Street Fair

Next up is another September tradition: the street fair.

On Sunday, September 13, visitors can make the most of their time in Clervaux by strolling through the town center, exploring the shops, and enjoying the festivities of this special day.

Why not take the opportunity to extend your visit? The castle, the “The Family of Man” exhibition, the narrow streets of the historic center, and the trails surrounding the town all offer great ways to round out your day in Clervaux.

Saturday, September 26 – First Edition of the Cittaslow BIO Day

Here’s a new event for 2026 that we’re particularly excited about!

On Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Clervaux’s pedestrian zone will host the very first edition of Cittaslow BIO Day.

Organized as part of National Organic Week and International Cittaslow Week, this event will showcase organic, local, and regional products.

On the agenda: producers and artisans, tastings, organic product sales, food trucks, workshops for all ages, entertainment, concerts, and areas dedicated to exploring more local and sustainable consumption.

A true gourmet stroll through the heart of Clervaux, perfectly in line with the destination’s Cittaslow spirit: taking your time, prioritizing quality, meeting producers, and savoring the region’s bounty.

As well as these events, September also gradually heralds the return of the first hints of autumn in the Éislek region.
